Six Monthly Competitions are held over the winter period, the winner being the photographer who gains the highest score from using the five highest marks obtained from his or her entries.

The Club holds an Annual Exhibition where all members are encouraged to enter, there are various sections to suit all types of photography.

Interclub competitions are held between DCC, Selby, Wakefield and Howden Camera Clubs, and a bi annual 10-10-10 battle with Dearne Valley Camera Club. Both these are competitions where members work is selected to represent the Club.

The annual YPU Exhibition is another vehicle for exhibiting your work, and again representing the club, on a regional level.
